As she gets ready for her 2nd cancer reconstruction, Jessie J is stepping back from the limelight.
On Monday, September 7, the 38-year-old singer, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2024 and declared herself cancer-free earlier this year, shared her plans in a heartfelt Instagram post.
With quite happiness and sadness, she began the post, saying, 'I want to start this post off by saying I am ok. I am not at my best but very far from my worst. I know people can twist these kinds of posts.'
The Bang Bang singer, though, is back on her previous experiences, including recording her first album in eight years, relocating to the UK from the US, touring, raising her 3-year-old son Sky, and suffering through a breakup with her husband, Chanan Safir Colman.

'It's no secret that the last 2 years have been magical, successful, life changing and extremely busy,' she added.
Jessie said that while she 'loved the last 2 years mostly,' the pace had 'taken a toll,' and that she now wanted to concentrate on her son and herself.
In order to 'finally have my second cancer reconstruction surgery, to recharge, recover, to relax, to process, to love on myself and my kid, to water the next chapter of my life and most importantly be present and genuinely live,' she made the decision to leave the digital world.
In closing, Jessie thanked her followers for their support and pledged to come back when she was ready.
