Poll: Gap between blocs closes

An election poll the Midgam Institute conducted on Monday for Channel 12 found that the distance between the two major political blocs is closing, with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's bloc receiving 52 seats and the anti-Netanyahu bloc receiving 52 seats. According to the poll results, if the elections were held today, Gadi Eisenkot's Yashar Party would receive 25 seats, leading the Likud, which would receive 21. Bennet and Lapid's Together Party would earn 13 seats, the Democrats 11, Yisrael Beytenu eight, United Torah Judaism (UTJ) eight, the Joint List (Balad, Ta'al, Hadash) seven, Shas seven, Otzma Yehudit six, the Religious Zionist Party six, United Arab List (Ra'am) four, and Ofer Winter's Amcha Yisrael Party would receive four.A poll conducted by NEXT DATA for the pro-Netanyahu Channel 14 grants the current Prime Minister's bloc a total of 63 seats, while projecting those opposed to him to receive only 44 seats. In this poll, the Likud wins 30 seats, Yashar 22, and Shas and the Democrats win 10 each. The poll sees the Religious Zionist Party skyrocketing from its past standing to eight seats.
