The Kyiv-based state-owned design bureau 'LUCH' has developed the RK-19 anti-aircraft missile for the 'Osa' systems, unveiling the new product at the MSPO-2026 defense exhibition in Poland. In terms of its specifications and dimensions, it fully replaces the original Soviet 9M33 missile, a shortage of which the Ukrainian military has been experiencing when using the 'Osa' air defense system to destroy enemy drones and cruise missiles.
The new missile is capable of intercepting subsonic and supersonic targets within a radius of up to 10 kilometers and at altitudes of up to 5,000 meters, reaching speeds of 600 m/s. The missile uses radio-command guidance from the launcher's radar and is equipped with a fragmentation-high-explosive warhead with a non-contact radar detonator.
This was reported by the publication 'Oboronka.'
Previously, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense codified and approved the 'Nebokray' mobile workshops for use by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The system is designed for the repair and maintenance of drones.
Previously, the Ministry of Defense had standardized and authorized the use of the new 'General Chereshnya' unmanned FPV aerial system within the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
