ISLAMABAD, Nov 06 (APP):The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has issued a show-cause notice to officials of the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) over non-implementation of a court order for the reinstatement of its employees, seeking their response by November 25. Justice Inaam Ameen Minhas heard a contempt of court petition filed by the dismissed employees over the alleged failure to implement the court's reinstatement order. The court directed the PMDC officials to explain why contempt of court proceedings should not be initiated against them. The IHC had declared the dismissal of PMDC employees illegal in March 2026. However, the affected employees approached the court through a contempt petition, alleging that the council had failed to reinstate them despite the judgment.
