Oasis expected to announce Las Vegas stadium show, report says

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The iconic Britpop band Oasis is expected to return to the United States in 2027, and that includes at least one show in Las Vegas, according to one report. The Sun, a British tabloid, posted about the upcoming shows over the weekend. Oasis first grew to fame in the '90s and is by brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher. While details are limited, The Sun said the band is expected to announce North American dates, including Las Vegas and Boston, soon. 'Playing Las Vegas is going to be huge – the Sin City strip won't know what has hit it when the Gallagher brothers come to town,' a source quoted by The Sun said. Oasis' Las Vegas stop will be at Allegiant Stadium, while Boston's stop will be at Gillette Stadium, according to The Sun, which also said the band will be announcing a series of stops at large European stadiums as well. Oasis reunited in 2024 for the first time in 15 years. That announcement included a world tour with a handful of U.S. dates; two nights at the Rose Bowl in Los Angeles, two nights at MetLife Stadium outside of New York and one night at Soldier Field in Chicago. The last time Oasis performed in Las Vegas was in 2008 at the Pearl Concert Theater at the Palms Resort. That show was in support of the band's Dig Out Your Soul album. The final stops of that tour were canceled after singer Noel Gallagher announced he was quitting saying in part, 'I could not continue working with Liam for a day longer.' The Sun's report on Oasis' upcoming tour didn't include any dates, but did say the band will start its tour in Glasgow in May.
