Miami family found dead after small plane crashes 15 miles off Bahamas coast
The bodies of four family members from Miami were recovered after a small plane crash near the Bahamas, the Coast Guard said.
Their family identified them as Mario Lamar Sr., 80, and Lili Lamar, 79, and their grandchildren, Sofi Sosa, 28, and Christian Sosa, 22.

The Coast Guard said the small plane, a PA-34-200T Piper five-seater, went down 15 miles off the coast of Andros Island just before 2:30 p.m. yesterday.
The family was traveling to Miami Executive Airport in Opa-locka.

"Mario had more than 40 years of flying experience," the Coast Guard said.
"It is with profound sadness that we confirm all four of our family members have been found deceased," it said in a statement.
It is unclear why or how the plane crashed.
