These Predictions For 'DWTS' Season 35 Dedication Night Have Fans Divided

While Season 35 of Dancing with the Stars has yet to begin, fans' predictions for the show are well underway. Specifically, following last week's announcement of the full cast, a content creator shared their predictions of who the millennial-favorite stars would choose to honor for the show's Dedication Night, assuming they make it to that point in the competition. The post speculated that Fresh Prince of Bel Air star Tatyana Ali would honor the late James Avery, who played her father on the show. The Instagram user also suggested that Julia Stiles would pay tribute to her late 10 Things I Hate About You co-star Heath Ledger, while Harry Shum Jr. would dedicate his number to late Glee co-stars Naya Rivera or Corey Monteith. 'DWTS really said millennials, come collect your emotional damage,' the post's caption said. 'Dedication night is about to be absolutely disrespectful.' Fans were mixed though, with some noting that the cast members' relationship with co-stars of their past may be less significant than personal loved ones. 'They'll probably do their family members but this is a nice thought,' one wrote. 'I think maybe Tatyana is right. The rest I doubt,' added another. 'Why does everyone think they will dedicate their dances to a dead co-star vs their family?' another asked. 'No one even knows if they had any sort of personal relationship.' However, others were emotional just at the thought of the proposed dedications. 'If they do this, then I will need a box of tissues,' one said. 'I'm def gonna be crying,' added another. 'I was already telling my sister that Julia and Ezra [Sosa] need to do a nod to Heath!!' a third agreed. Another fan went as far to suggest that Shum Jr. should dance to Rivera's version of 'If I Die Young' for his future performance.
