One of the biggest storylines this offseason for the San Francisco 49ers has been their health of the team after dealing with numerous injuries throughout training camp. One of those players was Mike Evans.
Ahead of their Week 1 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams, Evans went on to quiet anyone skeptical of his health for the season.
Evans, when discussing his injuries, went on to say they were 'not significant' and that 'If it was a game week, I wouldn't have missed any time.'

While Evans went on to miss time with multiple soft-tissue injuries, including quad, groin, and adductor issues, it is clear they weren't severe based on what Evans said.
With him being 33 years old, there are still concerns as the season approaches, but it seems the time he missed this summer was more precautionary rather than the 49ers risking furthering his injuries to where he wouldn't be ready for the season.
