Mustangs Draw Oregon Tech to Close out Road Trip Uploaded: , Tuesday, Sep 8, 2026 By Press Release The Master's University men's soccer team battled Oregon Tech to a 0-0 draw Saturday, Sept. 5 at OIT Soccer Field, closing out an Oregon road trip. TMU held the edge in shots for the match, 11-6, and forced three saves out of Oregon Tech goalkeeper Noah Harwood. Trent Rickard was at the forefront of the Mustang attack, putting up five shot attempts before coming off in the second half. Zach Bates had the best individual chances of the day for TMU, hitting the post in the first half and then testing Harwood twice more with headers off corner service in the second. Jo Yokota , Umberto Tucceri , Braden Krusey and Clinton Mawusi all took turns as the Mustangs racked up nine corner kicks on the afternoon compared to just two for Oregon Tech. On the other side of the ball, Franco Barba made two saves in net to keep the shutout intact for TMU. The game had a physical tone throughout, with 12 fouls whistled on each team. Jaime Dominguez , Clinton Mawusi and Adiel Kaduya were each called for yellow cards for the Mustangs, while Oregon Tech had three players cautioned as well. TMU pushed for a late winner, stringing together several corner kicks in the final 15 minutes, but Harwood and the Oregon Tech defense held firm to the final whistle. Rickard finished with five shots while Bates had three shots, two on goal. The draw moves The Master's to 1-2-2 on the season.
