The Cabinet extended program reimburse tuition costs children veterans enrolled contract

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has extended the program providing full compensation for the cost of contract-based education for the children of veterans for the 2026/2027 academic year. This benefit is available to students at institutions of pre-higher and higher vocational education. To receive this benefit, students must submit the required documents to their educational institution; a certificate will then appear in the 'Diya' app, which must be confirmed within 20 calendar days. The Ministry of Veterans Affairs will transfer funds directly to the educational institution, and if a student has already paid for tuition or a portion of it on their own, the institution will reimburse the amount spent. This was reported by Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyi's Telegram channel. The Ukrainian labor market continues to change amid an acute labor shortage.
