EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) is introducing a new 'Family Section' for the 2026 football season, providing fans with the chance to purchase one or more adult tickets for $20 each and receive two free youth tickets (age 12 and under) for every adult ticket purchased.
According to UTEP officials, if a fan purchases two adult tickets, they would receive up to four free youth tickets.
"Providing affordable family fun is a key part of UTEP Athletics' 'New Conference. Old Rivals' Campaign," UTEP Deputy AD and Chief Revenue Officer Michael Levy said. "The Family Section creates an exciting and affordable way for families across El Paso to experience Miner football together, and we hope the community will help us pack the Sun Bowl all season long."
UTEP says the family section is located in section 17, which they say puts fans right in the middle of the action when the Miners enter the field through the 'Mine Shaft' during pregame.
Officials at UTEP say with fewer than 1,300 seats in section 17, tickets will go fast. Family section tickets will go on sale at 10 am the week of every UTEP football home game and are available by visiting www.UTEPMiners.com/Tickets.
