Miriam "Mi Mi" Ann Thomas

Miriam 'Mi Mi' Thomas, age 55, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2026, at her residence in Cottage Grove, TN. Her funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 12:00 PM at McEvoy Funeral Home Chapel with William Jones (former pastor of Oak Hill Church) officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Union Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday, September 11, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and after 10:00 AM Saturday until service time. Miriam was born December 12, 1970, in Paris, TN to the Late Richard Warmack, Dale Flood & Virginia 'Chi Chi' Holtgrewe Eding. She married Dwayne Thomas on April 20, 1991, who survives her in Cottage Grove, TN. She is survived by daughters: Elizabeth Thomas of Cottage Grove, TN, Laura Ann Thomas of Nashville, TN, Megan Thomas of Cottage Grove, TN, Paige Thomas (fiancé Joshua Cramer) of Paris, TN; and son: Matthew Thomas of Cottage Grove, TN. She also leaves behind her brother Michael (Julie) Flood of Paragould, AR; grandchildren: Isaiah Thomas & Luella Cramer; and numerous aunts, uncles, other family members, and friends. She was preceded in death by a daughter: Ashley Flood. Mrs. Thomas was a member of Oak Hill Union Church. She worked at Paris Elementary School and also drove a school bus for some 16 years. Miriam was a devoted mother, grandmother, and wife, married to her husband Dwayne for 35 years. She was an avid Wheel of Fortune enthusiast and enjoyed camping with her family, but most especially enjoyed her grandbabies.
