Kaghan Valley turned wintry on Saturday as Babusar Top received its first snowfall of the season, while rain and snow also hit other high-altitude areas. The sudden weather change brought relief to parts of Hazara Division that had experienced intense heat for nearly two weeks. Temperatures in the valley have also dropped sharply, prompting residents to bring out sweaters and shawls. (@GBTourism_) September 5, 2026 Tourists traveling along the Mansehra-Naran-Jalkhad Road toward Gilgit-Baltistan witnessed the snowfall at Babusar Top. The early snowfall has surprised locals, who said such conditions have increasingly shifted toward November in recent years. Despite the weather, the administration said roads connecting Balakot, Mansehra, Naran and Jalkhad remain open.
