Sumanth's high-budget devotional action thriller Mahendragiri Varahi, has recently completed its censor formalities with U/A certification. The Santossh Jagarlapudi directorial is gearing up for a worldwide release on September 11. The anticipation for the movie is high as the teaser and trailer got good response all over. Produced by Madhu and Laxman, the movie is the highest budget production ever in Sumanth's career. Talking about the film, Sumanth stated that he will be seen as a modern YouTuber who actively exposes superstitions. Despite dealing with deep devotional concepts, the story perfectly blends emotional family drama with commercial elements. He explained that they did not lock the script as the devotional film trend took over but they locked three years ago. He expressed confidence in the film and stated that it promises an incredible theatrical experience, especially during the interval, pre-climax, and climax episodes that offer a massive high. He thanked Siddhu Jonnalgadda and Aishwarya Rajesh for their incredible performances and stated that they took the film to next level. He stated that Anup Rubens music and BGM will give literal goosebumps. Sumanth concluded by stating that Santhossh's knowledge in puranas, vedas and mythology made the story water-tight and people will be on the edge of their seats as thriller unfolds.
