St. Louis boy seriously injured in Ralls County UTV rollover crash

NEW LONDON — An 11-year-old boy was airlifted to a hospital Saturday evening after a utility terrain vehicle he was driving overturned in Ralls County. The single-vehicle crash happened around 7:48 p.m. on Rocky Point Lane, about 3 miles south of New London, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol incident report. Authorities said the juvenile from St. Louis was driving a northbound 2023 Polaris youth RZR when the vehicle overturned. The driver was wearing a safety device at the time of the accident. He sustained serious injuries and was transported by Air Evac to St. Louis Children's Hospital for treatment. The Polaris youth RZR received minor damage and was driven from the scene.
