The Cantera Rojiblanca faced another busy weekend of action on Matchdays 7 and 8 of the Apertura 2026, with our young players once again showing their Rojiblanco DNA and competitive spirit. Their performances resulted in 4 wins and just one defeat. Here's a look at the details from the matches played by each of Guadalajara's youth teams. Chivas Femenil Sub-19 Keeps Its Perfect Run Going! The Rojiblancas remain on fire in this category, adding another victory to their tournament tally. This time, they defeated Necaxa on Matchday 8 of AP26 at Sports Arena. Ixchel Uscanga opened the scoring with a brace in the 5th and 36th minutes, giving the team the lead before halftime. Later, Ivana Labra scored in the 64th minute and Emma Cordulack added another in the 89th to complete the rout. With their seventh straight win and fifth clean sheet, the Rojiblancas moved to 19 points and strengthened their position at the top of Group B. Fourth Straight Win for the Men's U-19 The Men's U-19 side faced San Luis on Matchday 8 and earned a 0-2 away victory. With Edgar Vargas scoring twice in the 15th and 88th minutes, the Rojiblancos secured the win against the Potosí side and recorded their fourth clean sheet of the tournament. With this result, the Rojiblancos moved to 12 points and currently sit sixth overall. Second Straight Match with Points for the U-21 Meanwhile, Guadalajara's U-21 side faced San Luis on Matchday 7 and came away with a convincing 1-3 victory on the road. Raúl Martínez scored in the 6th minute, followed by Gael García in the 31st and Hugo Mata in the 39th, as the Rojiblancos put together an outstanding first half. Although San Luis pulled one back in the 51st minute, it was not enough to prevent the Rebaño from taking all three points. With a game in hand, the Rojiblancos moved to 10 points and currently sit 11th in the standings. U-15: Victory and Back on Top of Group 2 At this level, the Rojiblancos faced Necaxa on Matchday 8 at Gigantera, where the Rebaño secured a 1-0 victory thanks to Ángel Ayala's 66th-minute goal. With the three points, the Rojiblancos moved to 16 points and reclaimed the top spot in Group 2. U-17 Falls by the Narrowest of Margins The U-17 side also faced Necaxa on Matchday 8, in a tightly contested match. The only goal of the game came in the 80th minute. Although the Rojiblancos pushed for an equalizer, there was not enough time to turn things around, and they ultimately suffered a defeat at Gigantera. The Rojiblancos have 7 points and currently sit ninth in Group 2.
