Man killed in 3-car crash in Santa Venera

Read in Malti . A 26-year-old man has lost his life in a 3-car collision in Santa Venera this afternoon, the police have confirmed. The incident took place at around 5.30pm in Triq il-Kbira San Ġużepp, close to the water inspection tower of the Wignacourt Aqueduct. The car being driven by the 26-year-old Marsa resident overturned on impact. Civil Protection Department personnel were brought in to extricate him from the wreckage, but the man was ultimately pronounced dead on site. The three people inside the other two cars – a 49-year-old Canadian man resident in San Ġwann, his 43-year-old passenger, a Korean woman living in San Ġwann and a 46-year-old man from Pietà who was driving the other car – were unhurt.
