🇸🇲 San Marino: Violamarie to Junior Eurovision 2026

San Marino RTV has revealed that 11-year-old Violamarie will represent San Marino at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Ta' Qali, Malta. Violamarie has been announced as the Sammarinese representative for the 24th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. The 11-year-old singer is from Milan, Italy and has participated in a number of competitions, including Je So Pazzo, Tour Music Fest, Sanremo Junior and Performer Cup. She has also performed as part of Zecchino d'Oro and La Tv dei 100 e uno. Speaking at a press conference, Violamarie said: 'I'm very excited. I've been following San Marino for a while now, and I'm so happy to have this opportunity. It'll be the biggest stage I've ever sung on. I hope to make new friends and have a lot of fun.' The Head of Delegation Denny Montesi explained San Marino RTV's approach for Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026, stating 'After last year's excellent result, we want to raise the bar even further and present ourselves in Malta with an ambitious, competitive, and international project.'. He added regarding the song that Violamarie will perform: 'The song remains top secret for now, but I can reveal that it bears the signatures of Emilio Munda, Piero Romitelli, and myself. The music publishers are Sugar Music, Sony Music Publishing, and Jois Edizioni, while Astral Music will be the record label. We truly believe in Violamarie and the project built around her. The goal is to bring a strong, contemporary, and impactful project to the Junior Eurovision stage' San Marino debuted at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2013 and competed annually until 2015. They returned to the contest in 2024 and 2025 saw their best result to date with Martina CRV finishing 9th in the final and placing 3rd with the televote. This is San Marino's best result in any Eurovision contest. Junior Eurovision 2026 Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026 will take place on October 24 in the Malta Fairs & Conventions Centre in Ta' Qali. This will be the third time that Malta will host the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, having done so previously in 2014 and 2016.
