Video above: 'News 5 Now' — Top Stories from Sept. 7, 2026 OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — Multiple emergency units were called to a multiple-vehicle crash involving an ATV in Okaloosa County. According to a Facebook post from the Holt Fire District, fire rescue crews responded to a crash including an ATV. The crash left at least one person needing to be taken to the hospital by med flight. Officials didn't say where or when the crash occurred. No word on the condition of those people involved. Fire rescue members warn about the dangers of ATVs when enjoying the outdoors. 'ATVs can be a lot of fun, but they can also be dangerous when operated without proper precautions,' the post said. 'Always wear a properly fitted helmet, ride at a safe speed for the terrain and conditions, and never operate an ATV beyond your experience or ability. A few seconds of caution can make a life-changing difference.' The post said the Okaloosa County EMS, Okaloosa Med Flight, Okaloosa Sheriff's Office and the Baker Fire Department also responded to the incident.Submit Correction Δ
