NEW TOWN, ND (KXNET) — The MHA Emergency Operations Center (EOC) is holding training to help people and communities prepare for different emergencies. The training is free and open to first responders and members of the public. People will learn how to identify hazards likely to impact their community, how to prepare for and respond to natural disasters, and how to plan for emergencies. The training will be held Thursday, September 17 from 9 a.m. to noon. People can attend in person at the MHA Emergency Operations Center in New Town or online.
