Virginia Beach man killed in Maryland crash

SNOW HILL, Md. — A 21-year-old Virginia Beach man died in a two-vehicle crash in Worcester County on Sept. 2, Maryland State Police said. The crash happened shortly before 10:30 a.m. at Snow Hill Road and St. Lukes Road. Police identified the victim as Nijee Williams-Seck. He was driving a Nissan Maxima and was pronounced dead at the scene. A 17-year-old female passenger in the Nissan was flown to a local trauma center. The driver of a Freightliner box truck, a 36-year-old man, was also taken to a local hospital with injuries. According to a preliminary investigation, the Nissan was traveling north on Snow Hill Road when, for unknown reasons, it crossed into the southbound lanes and struck the Freightliner. Maryland State Police are continuing to investigating the crash.
