Dr Twinkle Suri is new Director Colleges J&K

STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: The Government on Monday appointed Dr Twinkle Suri, Principal and Dean Academic Affairs, Cluster University of Jammu, as Director Colleges, Jammu Kashmir. According to an order issued by the Ram Niwas Sharma, Commissioner Secretary, Higher Education Department, Dr Twinkle Suri has been transferred and posted as Director Colleges with immediate effect, relieving Dr Sheikh Ajaz Bashir, Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), from the additional charge of the post. The appointment has been made on the recommendation of the Selection Committee and with the approval of the competent authority. Dr Suri will hold the post for a period of two years, extendable by one year subject to satisfactory performance and conduct. The department may also conduct a fresh selection for the post. The order further states that the administrative department will have the right to terminate the tenure before its completion if the performance, work or conduct of the incumbent is found unsatisfactory, after providing an opportunity to be heard.
