Rain expected in several Punjab areas over next 24 to 48 hours

LAHORE - Hot and humid weather is expected to prevail across most districts of Punjab during the next 24 hours, while Murree, Galiyat, Jhelum, Narowal, Sialkot and Gujrat may receive rain accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorms at isolated places. According to the weather outlook, partly cloudy conditions with rain and thunderstorms are also expected in Rawalpindi and Chakwal over the next 48 hours. Most parts of Punjab remained hot and humid during the past 24 hours, while Rawalpindi received thunderstorms and rain at a few places. Murree recorded 1.0mm of rainfall during the last 24 hours.
