HANNIBAL — The Hannibal Police Department reported the following arrests and other significant incidents during the course of last week.
August 30
-Hannibal police arrested an adult female on charges of first-degree burglary and violation of an order of protection after responding to a domestic disturbance at 2503 Broadway. An adult male was listed as the complainant.
-Officers conducted a traffic stop for reckless driving at Broadway and South 6th Street. An adult male driver was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated (DWI).
-Hannibal police arrested an adult male on an active state failure to appear warrant at 777 Broadway.
August 31
-Officers responded to a report of a fight in progress in the area of Highway 61 near Paris Gravel Road. A juvenile was taken into custody on charges of first-degree domestic assault, armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon, and resisting or interfering with arrest. The incident involved an adult male victim and an adult female witness.
September 1
-Officers responded to 620 Butler Street to serve a warrant. An adult male was contacted on an active in-state warrant, and an adult female was issued a verbal warning for hindering prosecution.
-A delayed report of fraud was made for 4268 Stardust Drive, involving an adult female complainant.
-Police received a report of a traffic crash at 6000 Hospital Drive, which was listed as a leaving-the-scene traffic crash.
September 2
-Hannibal police arrested an adult male on charges of kidnapping and second-degree domestic assault after responding to a domestic disturbance report at 500 Mark Twain Avenue Room 115. An adult female was listed as the victim and complainant.
-Officers conducted a traffic stop on Lyon Street near South 6th Street, arresting an adult male driver on an active in-state warrant.
-Officers handled a death investigation at 416 Rock Street, which was ruled as a death by natural causes.
September 3
-A delayed report of felony stealing was made for Moonlight Drive. An adult female was listed as the complainant, and an adult male was listed as a suspect pending investigation.
-Officers responded to a disturbance on McMasters Avenue involving allegations of fourth-degree assault.
-Officers responded to a trespass complaint at 1 YMCA Drive. An adult female was arrested on an active state failure to appear warrant.
-Hannibal police conducted a traffic stop on Highway 79 near North 6th Street, arresting an adult male driver on an active in-state warrant.
-Police received a complaint of an ex parte violation of an order of protection at 3650 Stardust Drive, with an adult female listed as the complainant and victim.
September 4
-Police received a report of a sex offense at 2300 Hope Street. An adult male suspect is pending investigation for statutory sodomy and child molestation.
-Officers responded to a domestic disturbance report at 603A Lyon Street. An adult male was arrested on a charge of fourth-degree domestic assault involving an adult female victim.
-Officers responded to a firearms complaint in the 1100 block of Park Avenue involving the discharge of firearms.
-Hannibal police responded to a trespass complaint at 319 North Main Street, where an adult male was arrested for trespassing.
-Officers responded to a stealing report at 3650 Stardust Drive, arresting an adult male for misdemeanor shoplifting.
-Officers responded to an assist agency call at 1440 30th Street, arresting an adult female on an active state failure to appear warrant.
-Hannibal police conducted a traffic stop on US 61 near Stardust Drive, arresting an adult male driver for driving while suspended or revoked.
September 5
-Hannibal police responded to a domestic disturbance report at 202 Centerville Road Apt. 45, which is pending investigation for second-degree domestic assault and kidnapping. An adult male was listed as the suspect and an adult female was listed as the victim.
-Officers conducted a traffic stop on Market Street near Marion Street, arresting an adult male driver for resisting or interfering with arrest.
-Hannibal police conducted a traffic stop on West Ely Road near US 61, arresting an adult female driver for driving while suspended or revoked.
-A delayed report of a leaving-the-scene traffic crash was made for 2305 Hope Street.
All suspects are considered innocent until charges are proven in a court of law.
