Springfield Honors 25th Anniversary of September 11th

(MASS APPEAL) – As we approach the 25th anniversary of September 11th, Springfield is preparing to honor the lives lost and the courage of first responders and service members. Joining us now to talk about this year's ceremony are Judy Matt, President of Spirit of Springfield and Springfield Fire Captain Drew Piemonte. The September 11th Remembrance Ceremony will take place Friday, September 11th, at Riverfront Park, located at 1360 Hall of Fame Avenue in Springfield, with a ceremony prelude beginning at 5:00pm. and the ceremony starting at 6:00pm.
