LAHORE – Hunarmand Punjab, an independent initiative focused on digital and technical skills development, has announced its Advanced IT & Technical Training Programs for Pakistani youth. The initiative aims to provide industry-oriented training in areas that can help participants build careers in the growing digital economy. According to the program information, applications are scheduled to close on August 21, 2026. The opportunity is open to Pakistani citizens between 15 and 50 years of age, with a minimum educational qualification of Matric. Scholarship Card Based on Performance A key feature of the initiative is the Hunarmand Punjab Scholarship Card. The card is described as a merit-based recognition for participants who demonstrate strong academic performance during their training. Students must achieve at least 85% marks in the Final Evaluation Test and meet the program's other eligibility requirements. Rewards Linked to Merit The announced reward structure connects higher final scores with different benefits. Participants achieving a minimum of 85% may qualify for fee reimbursement, while higher-performing students may become eligible for rewards such as solar panels, Chromebooks, laptops, or e-bikes. The stated categories are 85% for fee reimbursement, 86–88% for a solar panel, 89–91% for a Chromebook, 92–94% for a laptop, and 95% or above for an e-bike. Final allocations remain subject to the initiative's criteria, quotas and policies. 50,000 Scholarship Cards Planned Hunarmand Punjab says 50,000 Scholarship Cards are available nationwide, with 25,000 places allocated for Punjab and another 25,000 for AJK, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh and Balochistan. The training initiative covers more than 30 areas, including IT, artificial intelligence, digital marketing, web development, graphic design, e-commerce and other technical skills. Participants are encouraged to review the official program requirements before applying.
