Family of missing Fairfield woman Chantel Brooks believes boyfriend may have answers The family of Chantel Brooks, a 36-year-old Solano County woman who vanished nearly two months ago, believes her boyfriend may hold answers about her disappearance. On July 17, Brooks left her job at a hotel in San Francisco and drove to a CVS store near her Fairfield home. She has not been seen since. Advertisement Fairfield Police Investigators have not released information about a possible suspect or person of interest, but neighbors and family members have raised concerns about her boyfriend. 'She wasn't herself anymore. She never, like, got dressed up or anything. And then we started hearing him and her fighting a lot, to where the room would shake,' a neighbor named Eileen said. Brooks' brother Kevin Robinson said, "We have some thoughts in our minds based on just what we're hearing right now. We don't want to step on the investigation, but we do want answers ASAP, like, this is crazy. We're just hearing things related to her last relationship, I'll say.' Family members have also said her boyfriend was abusive to her and other women. Fairfield police suspect foul play in her disappearance. Anyone who has information regarding Brooks' whereabouts is urged to contact the Fairfield Police Department at 707-428-7300. Calls can be made anonymously to the department's investigations division at 707-428-7600. Details can also be emailed to the Fairfield Investigations Division at case25-7208@fairfield.ca.gov.
