'We're incredibly proud to have raised €2,672 for the Irish Heart Foundation, the highest total of any participating pharmacy in the country,' said Store Manager Rebecca Roche.
'It's a fantastic reflection of the generosity of our customers in Clonard and across Wexford, and of the passion our team brought to the campaign. We're delighted to support such an important cause and help raise awareness of heart health in our community.'
With over 9,500 people dying from cardiovascular disease each year in Ireland and more than 19,000 people living with a cardiovascular condition in Wexford, the campaign helped to shine a light on the importance of awareness, prevention and practical community-based support.
As part of the initiative, participants were encouraged to move every day throughout May, taking part in activities ranging from walking and cycling to dancing, gardening and other everyday movement that supports cardiovascular health.
