Warming trend sparks heat advisory for Bay Area and Central Coast

NBC Universal, Inc. Meteorologist Kari Hall has a look at hotter temperatures this week in the Microclimate Forecast. A heat advisory will be in effect for the Bay Area by midweek when rising temperatures are expected to peak. The National Weather Service said the heat advisory will start 10 am. Wednesday through 10 p.m. Thursday for the Bay Area and Central Coast. Temperatures are expected to range from 90-105 degrees in the interior, with the coast seeing mid-70s to low-90s.
