TREMPEALEAU COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU) - On Sunday, Sept. 6, two Eau Claire residents were injured after their motorcycle struck a deer that ran into the roadway. According to a press release from the Trempealeau County Sheriff's Office, around 7:45 p.m., the motorcycle was traveling eastbound on State Rd. 121 when a deer ran into the roadway and the motorcycle struck the deer. Both people on the motorcycle, later identified as 50-year-old Joshua Storlie, the driver, and 50-year-old Jamie Storlie, the passenger, fell off and suffered sever injuries. They were both transported to an area hospital.
