Legend Glasker's big 1st game earns Big 12 Freshman of the Week honor

Glasker, who arrived in Provo as a three-star recruit, surprised many with how well he performed during spring ball and fall camp, emerging as one of three wide receiver starters. While high praise had been placed upon him, he continued to surprised in his Cougars debut. On the first drive of the game, Glasker ran a jet sweep all the way into the end zone, BYU's first score of the season. He didn't stop there, catching two touchdown passes and running away from Utah Tech Trailblazer defenders along the way. His speed was undeniable, as he was considerably quicker and faster than any other player on the field. With five touches (three receptions, two rushes), 81 total yards and three total touchdowns, Glasker was an easy choice for the Big 12 Freshman of the Week. And for good reason, as Glasker started and continued the onslaught of scores against the Trailblazers on Saturday.
