The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) has called for the immediate resignation of Education Minister Nara Lokesh and an impartial Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) inquiry into alleged irregularities in the DSC 2025 teacher recruitment process.
At separate press conferences, YSRCP spokesperson Konda Rajiv Gandhi and former MP Margani Bharath stated that Lokesh should step down to facilitate a fair investigation by the central agency.

They alleged numerous irregularities, including the use of fake Backward Class (BC) and sports-quota certificates. The party claimed that even members of the same families secured appointments based on mere participation certificates.
The YSRCP criticised the Mega DSC recruitment as a 'job mela' where teacher posts were reportedly offered for sale. They asserted that strong evidence supported these allegations.

The party accused Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu of shielding Lokesh. They recalled that former Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy had agreed to a CBI inquiry when allegations were made against YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Additionally, the YSRCP claimed the coalition government was suppressing dissent by filing cases against social-media activists, unemployed youth, and journalists who questioned the DSC irregularities. They questioned why no cases were being registered against individuals who allegedly secured jobs using falsified documents.
The party pointed out that appointments were made without candidates clearing the mandatory Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), which highlighted serious flaws in the recruitment process.

They concluded that only a CBI inquiry, rather than a Vigilance probe, could reveal the full truth behind the alleged irregularities.
