ADC-I Calls For Maximum Tree Plantation In Tharparkar

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Aug, 2026) A meeting regarding the monsoon tree plantation campaign in Tharparkar was held under the chair of Additional Deputy Commissioner-I Hashim Masood. Officials from all relevant departments of the district attended the meeting. According to a handout issued on Wednesday, during the meeting, detailed figures were presented regarding the number of saplings planted across the district so far under the ongoing tree plantation campaign. Expressing his satisfaction over the briefing, Additional Deputy Commissioner-I directed all officials to ensure that the saplings planted during the campaign were properly cared for and maintained so that they can grow into healthy trees. He said that the survival and well-being of the people of the district were linked to a green and healthy Tharparkar, therefore, a maximum number of trees should be planted across the district.
