NORTH EAST'S TOP SCARE PARK PROMISES THE BEST YEAR YET

THE NORTH East's most celebrated scare park has promised brave visitors the best experience yet, with more terror than ever before. Award-winning Psycho Path at Lintz Hall Farm, Burnopfield ups its game every year, adding new attractions. And this time round the experience – which launches on 26 September – has been added and tweaked to such a high level, that even the most dedicated fans will feel like it's a first time visit. A new site map has just been unveiled which highlights the many new attractions – and those which have been updated and extended. It includes – for the first time – a Psycho Path VR experience, Flight Path 666 and a horrifying-sounding element called The Origin of Evil. A new VIP bar – Bite Club VIP – has been introduced for the first time and special meet and greet stations have been set up where brave attendees can get up close and personal with some of the scary characters that run rampage around the site. The team behind its success have also given a new look to some of the classic attractions, with Vandalised, Dolls House, IScream and Crawl Space all extended and added to. Christiano Crawford, one of the co-directors of Psycho Path, warned that one of the most popular scares is now 'one of the most terrifying experiences anyone can have.' 'We have changed the scares that lurk behind three of the doors of Isolation,' he said. 'And they really are not for the faint-hearted. We believe they are going to give people nightmares for weeks – if not months – afterwards.' Psycho Path has also extended its merchandise range and this year will include a dedicated store where people can buy the scariest of souvenirs. One of the original Psycho Path's Psycho City will be making its last appearance this year, as part of the organisers' commitment to keeping the event fresh. 'Anyone who hasn't visited Psycho City needs to make sure they do it this year,' said Christiano. A fairground, a whole host of top food outlets and bars and stage shows and popular elements including The Darkness and Cutthroat Island will also be returning, ensuring that Psycho Path has more attractions than ever before. 'Every year we promise more and more and that's what we're proud to deliver,' said Christiano. 'And that's absolutely true this year once again. We can't wait for everyone to see what we've done.'
