"If I have 50 clients, I have 50 incomes": How to think like an entrepreneur, with Karl Deeter
As a young man, Karl Deeter tried it all – digging ditches, dog training, door-to-door insurance, bar work, paid music gigs, you name it. A little over a year ago, Mr Deeter sold his business, Software Circle, for €9m. He is still working over 60 hours a week. It's fair to say he knows a thing or two about graft and entrepreneurial spirit, and so he's the latest guest in the Money Talks studio alongside host Katie Byrne. 'The funny thing is, if you love something enough and you work hard enough at it, the money finds you,' Mr Deeter says. 'And I know that probably sounds like, 'Oh, that's so cliched' – it's not. It is actually how the world works. 'If you love something enough that you go for it in a way that no one else does and you're there earlier and you're there later and you're doing it with an intensity and you think about it and you read about it and you study it... the money will find you.' On this episode of Money Talks, Mr Deeter pulls back the curtain on the entrepreneur game as he details his experience, his advice and why he believes that he could make anyone a millionaire.
