IGFC Balochistan (South) Inaugurates Family Park Turbat Under BSDI

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Sep, 2026) Inspector General Frontier Crops (IGFC) Balochistan (South) inaugurated Family Park Turbat under Balochistan Special Development Initiative (BSDI). Official source said on Thursday that Family Park Turbat was built in 2018, but due to long-term neglect, it was in a dilapidated condition, owing to which a healthy and pleasant recreational environment was not available for women and especially children. Keeping this situation in mind, the repair and renovation work of the park was completed under the Balochistan Special Development Initiative (BSDI), he said. After which the IGFC Balochistan (South) formally inaugurated the park and also visited the park. Local elders and dignitaries attended the event in large numbers. Under the project, various swings and artificial birds and animals were installed in the park, tuff tiles were fixed on the tracks, while new plants and grass were planted to make the park more beautiful and attractive. According to official, solar lights have also been installed in the park for lighting, which aims to provide a good, spacious and recreational environment for women and children. The public appreciated the initiative of renovating the Family Park under the Balochistan Special Development Initiative (BSDI), calling it a positive and useful facility for women and children. On this occasion, the public also discussed the overall situation of South Balochistan with the IGFC.
