Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will not be considered working members of the British royal family after returning to the UK and will not be able to perform official duties on behalf of the monarch. This is stated in a letter sent on behalf of King Charles III, the BBC reported on September 7.
The document, which was sent to representatives of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, as well as government agencies, military officials and representatives of the monarch in the regions, notes that Harry and Meghan are still private individuals.
