LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Sep, 2026) A nine-member Uzbek media delegation on Sunday visited Lahore's historic and cultural landmarks, exploring the city's rich heritage, Mughal-era architecture and cultural traditions.
The delegation visited Lahore Fort, Badshahi Mosque, the mausoleum of Allama Iqbal, Gurdwara Dera Sahib (Arjan Dev Ji Lahore) and Minar-e-Pakistan. The visiting media representatives took keen interest in Lahore's historic sites and appreciated Pakistan's rich cultural and historical heritage.
The delegation comprises representatives associated with Uzbek television, digital content creators, YouTubers, influencers and social media platforms.
They have been visiting Pakistan since September 15.
The visit is aimed at promoting bilateral relations, media linkages and people-to-people contacts between Pakistan and Uzbekistan, besides highlighting Pakistan's development, cultural heritage and tourism potential to the people of Uzbekistan.
During their Lahore visit, the delegation observed the historical significance of the city, its Mughal architecture and vibrant cultural life. They also witnessed the blend of Lahore's historic heritage with modern urban life. The delegation will share its observations and experiences with audiences in Uzbekistan through television, digital platforms and social media.
The Uzbek media delegation is visiting historical, cultural and tourist sites in different cities of Pakistan, which is expected to further promote mutual understanding, cultural ties and people-to-people contacts between the two countries.
