Internal Coordination Meeting Of Rescue Held At PDMA

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Sep, 2026) An internal coordination meeting of the Rescue Section of the PDMA Balochistan was held at the Provincial Emergency Operations Centre (PEOC) here on Wednesday to review the preparedness and operational readiness of rescue units across the province. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Director (Rescue) PDMA Balochistan, Mr Asghar Ali Jamali, attended by Manager Operations (PEOC), All Station Rescue Incharge and Official from Rescue Force. During the meeting, the All Station Rescue Inchrge briefed the participants on the availability of manpower, equipment and the overall operational preparedness of their respective units. Various operational challenges and issues being faced by the rescue teams were also discussed in detail. The chair issued immediate directions on several matters and some of the issues were resolved on the spot to improve the efficiency and response capacity of the rescue units. Mr Asghar Ali Jamali directed all rescue personnel to maintain the highest level of preparedness and remain on high alert to respond promptly to any emergency or disaster situation in the province. He made it clear that there would be zero tolerance for negligence in the performance of official duties and warned that strict disciplinary action would be taken against officials found failing to perform their responsibilities effectively. The Chair stressed that all rescue units must ensure full operational readiness, proper maintenance and availability of equipment and manpower at all times. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks by the chair.
