PAGASA Issues Heavy Rainfall Warnings: Orange Alert in Zambales, Yellow Alerts in Bataan, Batangas, and More

The state weather bureau PAGASA has raised the alert status to Orange for parts of Zambales and Yellow for Bataan, Batangas, and four other areas due to heavy rainfall caused by the southwest monsoon (Habagat). The warnings indicate significant precipitation that could lead to flooding or landslides in the affected regions. The state weather bureau PAGASA issued Heavy Rainfall Warning No. 7 at 11:00 p.m., raising the alert status to Orange for parts of Zambales and Yellow for Bataan, Batangas, and four other areas due to the effects of the southwest monsoon ( Habagat). The areas under Orange alert (experiencing heavy rainfall) include Masinloc, Palauig, Candelaria, Santa Cruz, and Iba in Zambales. The Yellow alert (moderate rainfall) covers Agoncillo, Alitagtag, Balayan, Bauan, Calaca, Calatagan, Laurel, Lemery, Lian, Nasugbu, San Luis, San Nicolas, Santa Teresita, Taal, Talisay, Tuy, Tingloy, Mabini, Batangas City, Lobo, and San Pascual in Batangas; Alfonso, General Trias, General Emilio Aguinaldo, Indang, Magallanes, Maragondon, Mendez, Tagaytay, Ternate, Trece Martires, Cavite City, Naic, Noveleta, Rosario, Tanza, and Amadeo in Cavite; Floridablanca, Lubao, Sasmuan, Bacolor, San Fernando, Macabebe, Masantol, Minalin, Santo Tomas, Angeles, Mabalacat, Guagua, Porac, and Santa Rita in Pampanga; and Olongapo, Subic, Botolan, San Marcelino, Cabangan, Castillejos, San Antonio, San Felipe, and San Narciso in Zambales. Additionally, light to moderate with occasional heavy rains are expected to persist for three hours in San Manuel, Anao, Pura, Ramos, Victoria, La Paz, Concepcion, Tarlac City, Gerona, Paniqui, and Moncada in Tarlac; and Taysan, Rosario, Padre Garcia, San Juan, Cuenca, San Jose, Lipa, Ibaan, Malvar, Tanauan, Santo Tomas, Mataasnakahoy, and Balete in Batangas
