New Academic Journey Begins At Sukkur IBA University

SUKKUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Aug, 2026) Sukkur IBA University formally welcomed its new cohort of students at the Fall 2026 Orientation Program, marking the beginning of their academic journey here on Wednesday. The orientation program commenced on August 10, for students of the Faculty of Management Sciences and Faculty of Engineering & Technology, while the orientation for the Faculty of Science & Information Technology and Faculty of Education is scheduled for August 11. Earlier, on August 9, the University completed document verification and hostel allotment to facilitate outstation students and ensure a smooth transition to campus life. Addressing the ceremony, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Asif Ahmed Shaikh warmly welcomed the newly admitted students. He shed light on the remarkable journey of Sukkur IBA University as one of Pakistan's leading institutions, built on the vision of its founding father, Nisar Ahmed Siddiqui. The Vice Chancellor briefed the students on the University's academic excellence, national and international rankings, accreditations, and its commitment to quality education and holistic development. The orientation also included detailed briefings by university officials on academic policies, examination and grading systems, student affairs, and support services. Regular classes for the Fall 2026 semester have commenced from August 10, as the new batch officially embarks on a new chapter at Sukkur IBA University.
