The Palm Beach Post is hosting its weekly "Athlete of the Week" voting to highlight top high school student-athletes.
Last week's winner was Benjamin football freshman Zaydin Fleuridor.
This week's nominees for boys' sports include athletes from football, cross country, and golf.
Voting for the current week's athletes is open until noon on Friday.
Welcome to Athlete of the Week voting from The Palm Beach Post!
Congrats to our last winner, Zaydin Fleuridor of Benjamin football. The freshman caught five passes for 146 yards and three touchdowns in a 35-28 loss to Melbourne Central Catholic.
Each week, The Post will highlight the best boys and girls high school student-athlete performances in Palm Beach County. The polls will be open until noon Friday.
Nominees are accepted via email or phone, but will be selected by staff in the absence of submission.
Here's a look at the best boys performances from the the most recent week of high school competition:
The Post's Boys Athlete of the Week voting (Aug. 31 - Sept. 4)
Football: Nick Seal, Jr., Forest Hill ― Scored three touchdowns (two receiving, one rushing) and the game-winning 2-point conversion in 22-21 win over Coral Springs Charter
Football: Janarro Sumpter, Sr., Cardinal Newman ― Scored three touchdowns on just five carries, adding two interceptions (one pick-six) in a 45-14 win over John Carroll Catholic
Cross country: Elijah Arterburn, Sr., Atlantic Christian ― Ran a 16:23.82 to take first place in the Dr. Garcia Bulldogs Invite 2026
Golf: Greyson O'Brien, Fr., Boca Raton ― Shot a 37 to pace the field with the lowest score against North Broward Prep
Golf: Michael Skolnick, So., West Boca Raton ― Shot a 38 to pace the field in a victory over Olympic Heights
