FANWOOD, NJ – Fanny Wood Day is set to return to Fanwood in less than a month on Sunday, Sept. 27, 2026, bringing with it a full day of food, entertainment and community celebration. A local tradition now spanning more than 27 years, Fanny Wood Day has grown from a modest street fair into one of the area's signature festivals, drawing residents and visitors for a lively mix of street food, shopping, live entertainment, and family activities. This year's event promises more of the same, with more than 20 food vendors and 50-plus vendors and crafters expected to line the festival. The day begins with an opening ceremony from 11 to 11:30 a.m. in the Train Parking Lot, setting the stage for a packed afternoon of attractions. From Noon to 2 p.m., the Legendary Muscle Cars Auto Club NY/NJ will showcase vehicles at the Provident Bank Parking Lot, in an event sponsored by Carano Square. The attraction also includes free Hot Wheels for young visitors. One of the day's big draws will be the return of professional wrestling.
