As fashion takes over New York, London, Milan, and Paris, museums, galleries, and brands are offering their own interpretations of the season's biggest ideas. From September 9 to 13, "New York in Moncler" will transform the city into an open-air exhibition, with large-scale photographs revisiting the brand's most memorable moments across New York. The project spans everything from a choral fashion show at Hammerstein Ballroom to Sarah Jessica Parker's unforgettable puffer gown on And Just Like That…, designed by Pierpaolo Piccioli. 2) Szilveszter Makó Debuts 'Bauhaus Ballet' Collection Created by Hungarian photographer Szilveszter Makó and presented with The Cultivist and Capital One, photographer Szilveszter Makó's immersive exhibition unfolds across six rooms inspired by childhood memories, Hungarian folklore, art and fashion history, and the visual references behind his work. Its world is filled with objects that feel both familiar and strange, from bare brick walls to inherited cutlery and well-loved household pieces. 3) Alaïa Showcases Its Artistry at 'Homo Faber 2026' Alaïa is bringing a little runway drama to Venice. As part of "Homo Faber 2026: An Island of Light," the house will present a sculptural knitted gown at the Fondazione Giorgio Cini, complete with a flared skirt and individually cut, hand-sewn silk feathers. Conceived by British artist and designer Es Devlin, the monthlong exhibition celebrates the relationship between light, materials, and the human hand. In Alaïa's case, that relationship looks especially good in knitwear. 4) Olivia Rodrigo's 'Grrrl Germs' Exhibition Gets the Loewe Treatment Running until November 2026 at Olivia Rodrigo's Daisy Chain Fields in Irvine, California, "Grrrl Germs" explores the lasting influence of the riot grrrl movement. Curated by Astria Suparak, the exhibition brings together handmade zines, flyers, stitched banners, self-produced records, listening areas, and a collaborative map charting the movement's connections to art, activism, publishing, and community organizing.
