The Council wishes to appoint a reliable contractor who can provide a professional, responsive and high-quality grounds maintenance service for Parish Council owned land and areas maintained on behalf of the Highway Authority. The successful contractor will work in partnership with the Executive Officer on behalf of the Council to ensure that all areas are maintained to a consistently high standard throughout the contract period. The contract will be awarded for a period of three years commencing on 1st March 2027. This Invitation to Tender provides the Council's requirements together with details of the information that contractors are required to submit. Tenderers are strongly advised to inspect all sites before submitting their tender. Submission of a tender will be deemed confirmation that the contractor has fully satisfied themselves as to the extent and nature of the works. Completed tenders must be returned by the closing date specified by the Council – 26th October 2026, to the email / postal address given above. The Council reserves the right not to accept the lowest, or indeed any, tender received. Any requests for clarification should be submitted to the Executive Officer.
