King George Boulevard was closed for several hours Monday morning, Sept. 7, while police investigated a crash. A Chevy Avalanche SUV slammed into concrete barrier and hit a SkyTrain pillar beside King George Station, according to a freelance photographer on the scene, King George and Holland Commons Ave. The SPS Collision Investigation Unit is on the case along with the Independent Investigations Office (IIO), according to the freelancer. No word on the condition of the driver.
