Successful calls stack, so getting as many people as possible to contact the police will increase the police response level. Be careful during the skill checks, though, because failing the minigame can cause the call to fail. Once you have made enough successful calls, the police will send a patty wagon. In testing, it generally started arriving at around two and a half badges. The wagon will stop at its destination and two armed officers will get out. You can then escape through the back of the wagon or lead residents to it. How To Escape Through The Storm Cellar Storm cellars are another relatively simple escape option, although you first need to clear the entrance. You can use the appropriate key or bolt cutters to get inside. After unlocking it, civilians can escape through the cellar, and you can also tell residents to escape through it. How To Escape Through The Outer Gates The outer gates work similarly to the storm cellar, but they come with one very important extra requirement: a fuse. First, clear anything blocking the gate, such as weeds or wooden boards. Then unlock it using the correct key or bolt cutters. Finally, you need a fuse to get the gate working. Fuses can be considerably harder to find than keys or bolt cutters. If you find one early, it is worth remembering where you left it or keeping it with you. The outer gates are located around the outer edges of the map. How To Escape Using The Car The sedan requires three important things: gas, sedan keys, and a repair kit. Gas can generally be found around common areas rather than inside houses, including garages, backyards, and areas beneath the water tower. Make sure you find the sedan keys, rather than one of the keys used for other escape points. You also need a repair kit to fix the engine before you can drive.
