The hot new girl (color) in town

As it has been established, grape, electric violet, royal purple, whatever you want to call her, is the new IT-girl color in town. Purple is turning heads in the same way red has for the last few years. Light-wash denim, a cozy white T-shirt and a thick grape-purple V-neck sweater somehow does all the work without even realizing. It feels fresh, notoverlytrendy, loud but still DGAF. There is something almost nostalgic about it too, a color that has been sitting in the back of your closet for years and suddenly she's relevant again? As our girl purple enters the fold, it is important to understand who she is bringing with her… Camel and powder blue, unexpected feels like too strong a word, but there is something slightly unlikely about the pairing. They are supporting characters, but very important ones. Camel and purple together feels considered (??) in a strange way, usually where the best color combinations live.
