Look. I've been blasting my mouth about archetypes for months.
I know some of you are already pissed. Why you keep talking about this and not how to get more pussy?
Because this is what's in the way. That's why I'm talking about it.
And this is the one that pisses me off the most.
Mr. Paid-The-Rent-Sex.
Mack was that type. That's why we got rid of him from the inner circle. He wouldn't take ownership of the pattern.
Don't be a Mack because…
You turn into a human ATM and an emotional tampon. Totally neutered.
This guy was getting calls every single fucking day from a woman overseas. He paid all her bills. She berated him for ten years. Hardly any pussy. He was giving to get.
Until he begged me to help him. Literally begged me.
Then he went right back and did the same shit with some other chick. Because he's a loser who loves self-denial.
And the fucked up part is people like him want it. You like being treated like shit. It confirms something down deep you already believe about yourself.
You don't have to keep believing that about yourself.
So let's look at this no-back-bone, give-to-get archetype.
So every time you perform for a woman's approval, you bury the personality she would actually want—or throw out without pretending.
I had a student who watched a woman almost lose it because she couldn't pay rent. He rushed in, played hero, covered it.
Then he went to her house.
Another man was already there.
He wasn't the one she wanted. He was the one she called when the bills came due.
That's what chasing her approval gets you. You don't get chosen. You get used. And you sit there watching another man live the life you were trying to buy your way into.
You swallow your opinions.
You apologize for wanting anything.
You tolerate disrespect because you're terrified that one boundary might make her leave.
You call it being 'nice.'
It isn't kindness. It's fear.
And every time you abandon yourself to keep her happy, you teach her that your needs don't matter.
You become useful—but not desired.
Dependable—but not respected.
The provider. The problem-solver.The unpaid therapy tampon. The man who finances everything while asking permission to exist inside his own life.
Then you watch her choose the man who says what he wants, risks disapproval, and refuses to disappear for anyone.
And you tell yourself:
'Nice guys finish last.'
No.
Men who erase themselves finish last.
Go sit in the corner chair.
Keep paying the bills.
Keep pretending you're happy.
Keep watching somebody else become the bull in the life you were too frightened to claim.
I know a lot of you are 'Nice Guys.' Fine. Let's name the opposite that actually works—because it isn't cocky-funny, and it isn't that PUA crap with negs.
A lot of you don't know your own worth, so you live on 'give to get.'
Give to get is simple. You hand over time, money, help, attention, and hope she pays you back with desire. You cover the rent. You fix the problem. You stay useful. Then you wait for her to choose you.
A lot of that is programmed into men. Be good. Be helpful. Provide. Don't ask for it. Earn it.
And because it's autopilot, most of you think that's just how it works.
Like Mack. He was paying for pussy and calling it something else. First it was one woman's mortgage. Then it was some twenty-year-old in the East Bay using him.
Same pattern. Over and over. Give to get.
Where does that start? Early. Childhood. So let's look at the psychology.
Let's name the people who actually mapped this, because most of you think 'give to get' is just your personality. It isn't. It's a system. A few psychologists wrote the manual.
First, Robert Glover. Therapist. WroteNo More Mr. Nice Guy. He's the one who put language on what a lot of you are doing with women and calling it kindness.
Glover said Nice Guys don't ask. They run covert contracts. Unspoken deals.
His version is blunt:
If I'm a good guy, people will like me and love me, and the women I want will want me.
If I meet your needs without you asking, you'll meet mine without me asking.
If I do everything right, life won't punish me.
That's give to get. You pay. You help. You listen. You stay easy. Then you wait for sex, loyalty, softness, some proof you matter. She never agreed to that trade. She thought you were being nice. You thought you were earning her body.
Glover called the dating version nice guy seduction. You set it up. Dinner. Favors. Emotional labor. Then the silent invoice:I did all this. Why don't you want me?
When she doesn't pay, you get resentful and call her ungrateful. That's the contract breaking in public.
Now Alice Miller. Swiss psychologist. The Drama of the Gifted Child.'Gifted' here doesn't mean smart. It means the kid who could read the room.
Miller said some children survive by becoming useful. There's a parent who needs the kid to be a certain way — calm, helpful, impressive, not a problem. The child feels that and shapes himself around it.She wrote that this role secured 'love.' Then she named it: exploitation. He was needed. Needed felt like safety.
That's where your adult pattern starts. You still think being needed is the same as being wanted. So with women you become the fixer. Rent. Rides. Advice. The shoulder. You feel close when she leans on you. Then you go to her house and another man is already there, because leaning on you was never the same as choosing you.
Miller said that child locks the real self away and lives as the good version. In sex that looks like performing. Watching her face. Making it about her comfort. Waiting for a grade. You can't just want her. Want feels dangerous. So desire turns into service, and service doesn't make her wet. It makes her comfortable. Comfortable men get used. They don't get hunted.
Then Terrence Real. Therapist.I Don't Want to Talk About It.He wrote about men and hidden depression. His point: a lot of boys are trained that worth is earned. Don't feel it. Don't need. Produce.Be a man, meaning disappear the soft parts.
So as adults they regulate self-worth through performance. Work. Providing. Being the good partner. Sex becomes another performance. If she wants you, you exist. If she doesn't, you go into shame, porn, anger, checking out.
That's why Mack makes sense. Paying one woman's mortgage. Then bankrolling a twenty-year-old in the East Bay. He's not a fool in a vacuum. He's a kid who learned love arrives when you pay the bill. The young one using him feels familiar. Being used feels like purpose.
Put the three together and the psychology is simple.
Miller: the child survives by giving himself away.
Glover: the man turns that survival into a secret deal with women.
Real: the deal is how he keeps shame off his back.
How it plays out with sex is ugly and predictable.
He doesn't sayI want you.He creates conditions and hopes she guesses. Paid-the-rent sex. Handled-your-crisis sex. I've-been-so-good-to-you sex. Her nervous system reads the pressure. She goes polite, distant, or finds the guy she actually wants.
Or he picks women who will drain him, because drainers let him stay in the old job: be needed.
Or he gets into a relationship and goes dead in bed. He's doing everything 'right.' She's not hungry. He starts keeping score. That's Glover's resentment. The unpaid contract.
The opposite of this isn't cocky-funny or PUA negs. It's a man who knows he has worth before he gives anything. He can give clean, or he can ask direct. He doesn't smuggle his need inside a favor and then act shocked when she doesn't undress for the receipt.
So no matter how much work you do in the here and now to fix the adult part of you, you still have to regress and work on the childhood parts that learned this.
It's unfortunate. Until you figure out where the pattern started, and what you believed about yourself at the time, you will not get fucking anywhere. You can copy and paste all the PUA in the world. This will still run unconscious until you pull it out like a goddamn sliver in the finger.
