Missoula Gets a New Year-Round Batting Cage Option

Playing outdoor sports in Montana isn't always easy, especially when you're talking about spring and summer sports. Missoula used to have the old Missoula Batting Cages, of course, but those closed down years ago. You can still see some of the remnants of the old batting cages out at Fort Missoula. The Emergence of D-Bat Missoula Now, though, there's a new option. It's called D-Bat Missoula. That makes a lot of sense for a community like Missoula. We have a very strong softball community here. We have high school girls' softball. We have Legion baseball. With all of that going on, it was probably only a matter of time before somebody stepped up and gave these athletes a place to practice their hitting indoors. You can work on your batting, your hitting, your swing, your stance, and all those little things that can make a difference when you step onto the field. There's another interesting part to this, too. The same owners of D-Bat Missoula are also opening a sports card store, Soul City Card Co., giving people another place to buy, trade, and collect sports cards. So there's a lot happening for athletes and sports fans. People were searching for batting cages in Missoula. Now Missoula finally has them.
